    As an Web Designer at The Washington Post, I work with various internal departments to create B2B and B2C online solutions. My experience includes sharing great company values, working with a diverse technology team, collaborating with numerous internal departments and presenting concepts to stake holders. The experience as an inhouse designer has given me an understanding of the processes involved in maintaining a solid brand—both locally and nationally.

2003—2005

Swim Design Consultants

Lead Web Designer, Silver Spring, MD

    As a Designer at Swim Design, I created interactive design solutions for education and museum related clients. A small design studio running on a lean plate—one designer, one developer and two owners—taught me about every stage of the business and design process. These core elements included open communication, meeting deadlines, teamwork and innovative thinking to deliver the best product possible—for the client and the business.

    Clients: Smithsonian, Brooklyn Museum, Harvard University and Folger Shakespeare Library.

Razorfish Consultants

    As a Designer at Razorfish, I worked with experts in every field creating great symphonies of design work. My work included extending Fortune 500 brands, website production, mood boards, persona creation, animation, concept exploration and style guide documentation. The experience at Razorfish provided a great foundation for a solid design process and sharp presentation skills.
